| Here's the update people:
FYI everyone here should know about my mom's fight with a cancer that, from the beginning, has been incurable.
Well, a the cancer spread to vital organs, and then a few months ago, to her bones. A tumor in her neck shattered vertebrae so her neck is now broken. We have been trying to have surgery on it for the last month and a half. Now we've gotten down to the surgery and what would have happened this week except on closer cardiac inspection she has suffered some kind of mild heart attack. They postponed till this coming monday to make sure her heart would be strong enough to go under (thank the Lord, it is). Well, when they did some more cat scans, they found lesions in her brain. Which explains the slurring of speech and the lack of coordination. SO!!!! They hospitalized her immediately (tonight) and are giving her IV's to stop the swelling in her brain so that later she can have radiation to reduce the tumors....
So I guess that's where we are. The surgery in and of itself is very serious and even the doctors said they may have to improvise (IMPROVISE?!? waaah). It will take all day and the stats for a full recovery are not good.
I just know .... that when the stats aren't good ... that's when God takes that 3% full recovery and surprises us.
I can't say I'm expecting a miracle at this point.......... I'm just hoping and praying for one.

| Heeerrreee's JASMINE!!!
Rescued from the Humane Society, she is 1 1/2 years old and a Corgi-mix. Though you can't hardly tell in the picture, she has really short legs. She's so cute!!!! .... however, that is my opinion and not the opinion of the felines. | | |
| My neighbor left some extra plants at our back door the other day... (ok, the-other-day-two-weeks-ago) and I planted them in the mulch thingy in-between our homes. I weeded, too. It looks awesome. I love working outside, it's been forever since I have.
Anyway, just wanted to share my botany. (That really sounds bad, sorry.)
